Prop L will pass yet another tax to make San Francisco more expensive without fixing our public transit system. Muni is facing an over $200 million budget deficit due to plunging ridership, unreliable service, mismanagement and lack of accountability. Prop L only raises a fraction of the funding that Muni needs, with no accountability for those funds. Instead, it will waste money on a broken system and make San Francisco more expensive. San Francisco’s transit system needs real solutions, not more taxes and not Prop L.

• Prop L will increase taxes and make life more expensive for San Franciscans, especially those who rely on rideshares for necessities when Muni fails to serve their needs.
• Prop L lacks oversight needed to keep Muni accountable for taxpayer money. It has no audits, citizen or committee oversight, or other basic accountability protections that are standard in responsible legislation.
• Prop L does not properly fund San Francisco's public transit. It raises only 12% of the money needed to address Muni’s needs, meaning another costly tax will be required in the future.

Muni needs real reform and accountability, not another rushed tax that wastes time and money. Vote No on Prop L.
